The DBD will held the seminar “Efficient Trade Association and the sustainability of the economy” on 5^th August 2010 from 9.00 -14.00 at the Intercontinental Hotel, with the objective to inform the trade association the government policy in promoting and developing trade associations. Given the trade association is the representative of the business sectors, they should have the roles in enhancing the competitiveness of the members under the free trade agreement. Participants in this seminar include 300 chairman, committees, and executives from trade associations and key representative of chambers of commerce, and executives and representatives from related government agencies. H.E. Alongkorn Ponlaboot, Deputy Minister of Commerce, and Mr. Nandor G. von der Luehe, Chairman of the Joint Foreign Chambers of Commerce in Thailand, will be key speakers in this seminar (see attachment 1).

As the Chamber of Commerce and the trade association share the same roles as a major representative bodies of business sector, the Department of Business Development would like to invite you to attend this seminar.
