About Immigration Bureau

Immigration Bureau is in charge of controlling the arrivals to and departures from Thailand. It consists of 6 divisions to ensure the operation of The Immigration Office achieves maximum efficiency and effectiveness as well as being able to support and operate in a manner consistent with the state’s policy. The office is located at No.904 Popular Road, Muang Thong Thani, Banmai Sub-district, Pakkred District, Nonthaburi 11120. The divisions under Immigration Bureau’s supervision are as follows:

  • Immigration Division 1: Responsible for Immigration Services in Bangkok area only (except Immigration Checkpoint at the airport and Bangkok Port) The provided service cover Issuing and Changing the Type of Visa, Residence permit, Endorsement, Alien Registration, Re-entry Permit,  Visa Extension, Notification of Residence, 90 days Report, Transfer Stamp to a New Passport, Report a Lost Passport or TM.6, etc.
  • Immigration Division 2: There is a mission to inspect conveyance and people who travel in and out of the Kingdom of Thailand through 5 airports, they are, Suvarnabhumi Airport, Don Mueang Airport, Phuket Airport, Chiang Mai Airport, and Hat Yai Airport
  • Immigration Division 3: Responsible for Immigration Control in the Central, Eastern, and Western regions of Thailand (25 provinces + 1 checkpoint (Bangkok Port))
  • Immigration Division 4: Responsible for Immigration Control in the North-East region of Thailand (20 provinces)
  • Immigration Division 5: Responsible for Immigration Control in the North region of Thailand (17 provinces)
  • Immigration Division 6: Responsible for Immigration Control in the South region of Thailand (17 provinces)
