Celebrating 25 Years of Norwegian-related Business Achievements in Thailand

The Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce has just released its special edition of the Norway-Asia Business Review in celebration of its 25th anniversary in 2021. The magazine highlights the success of Norwegian-related businesses and their achievements over the years. 

This issue of Business Review features stories from many well-known companies including an interview with Telenor Group CEO Sigve Brekke where he talks about how Telenor succeeded in Thailand and how they are planning for the future in partnership with Thailand’s True Corporation. Aibel’s mega-structured offshore platforms shipped to Norway is a tall tale of its own while Jotun paints an interesting picture of its new state-of-the-art revhullution technology against fouling. Yara looks back more than 100 years in Thailand where the company is now providing farmers with the latest digital tools for modern farming. Finally, more than half of Norway’s exports to Thailand are fresh airflown Norwegian salmon and trout totalling close to Baht 5 billion in 2021, a record year for Norwegian Seafood. These are just some of the close to 30 interesting articles featured in the special anniversary issue of Norway-Asia Business Review.

The magazine reaches Norwegian-related business executives and decision makers throughout the region including the diplomatic missions as well as government ministries in Norway and Norwegian sector-based organisations, e.g. Innovation Norway and NHO. Business Review is a business magazine and the contents reflects this. The magazine focuses on Norwegian-related stories from the region and issues that have impact or interest for Norwegian related businesses. About Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce (TNCC)

The Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1996 with the aim of facilitating increased trade and investment between Norway and Thailand. It provides members with a forum to improve business conditions and opportunities as well as creating venues and channels for exchange and sharing of information. The chamber organises business related events from breakfast meetings covering current business affairs, to topical business seminars and networking events featuring guest speakers.
