The event was organised to express gratitude to key business partners and celebrate the resumption of direct flights between BKK-OSL v.v. This is part of Thai Airways’ strategy to expand services in the Scandinavian market.
The event was attended by representatives from the Norwegian Embassy in Thailand, Cargo and Mail Agent, Norwegian Tourism, Travel Agents in Thailand, and Norwegian Corporates in Thailand. It aimed to foster international aviation cooperation and strengthen business relationships. The event also provided an opportunity for participants to exchange ideas, build business networks, and invited influencer and Norwegian tourism representatives to share their travel experiences and industry perspectives.
In addition to Thai Airways’ routes to Sweden and Denmark, the airline operates seven direct flights per week to Norway, a key destination in Northern Europe. This service is instrumental in reinforcing ties with the Scandinavian region, promoting solid relationships, and increasing awareness and travel. The event also allowed Thai Airways to express appreciation to all stakeholders who contributed to the successful launch of these new routes.
