The Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce (TNCC), in collaboration with Danish-Thai Chamber of Commerce, truly delighted to invite you to the celebration of more than 1000 Years Trade in the North Atlantic. At this annual event there will be a 40 min. presentation on the exploration of trade and discoveries taking the latest scientific discoveries (2022 – 2025) into account. The presentation will underline how important trade can be in driving the exploration of new territories and business niches.
Precisely in the year 1021 new research shows that Leif Eriksen and his crew stepped on American soil as the first Europeans. He built his basecamp on New Foundland and explored further south maybe as far as present-day New York new evidence suggests.

At this event there will a full Viking Buffet along with beer and other drinks for the celebration of the Norse presence till this day in the North Atlantic Ocean.

Date: 22 February 2025

Time: 17:30 – 20:30 hrs. (Registration starts at 17:30 hrs. at the entrance)

Venue: Mermaid’s Beach Resort, Soi Jomtien 7, Jomtien Beach, Thailand.

Admission Fee: Members 600 THB and Non-Members 900 THB.
