Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce is seeking for an Administrative and Event Coordinator who is energetic, self driven and responsible to join our dynamic and growing organisation.
Position and Reporting Channel
The Administrative and Event Coordinator reports to Executive Director of the Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce.
Job responsibilities
The Administrative and Event Coordinator plays an important part in delivering administrative support to the chamber’s operation. Responsibilities of the Administrative and Event Coordinator shall be, but not limited to the following:
- Assist the Executive Director with administrative in day-to-day activities at the Chamber office including handle and follow up accounts receivable for the chamber and record and reconcile monthly chamber and clients’ expenses and revenues with the outsourced accounting service
- Manage inventory and source, negotiate and purchase equipment and supplies for chamber activities with vendors provider
- Maintain and updates the chamber databases
- Manage and organise events, providing all logistic support for events and creating chamber’s activity contents on chamber’s communication channels
- Maximise chamber’s revenues through recruitment and management of event participants, advertisers and sponsors
- Provide onboarding and offboarding, training, supervision, and overall management of interns.
- Maintain relationship with existing Chamber members, business partners as well as recruit new members
- Co-ordinate with external organisations and follow up on any issue for operating the Thai-Norwegian Chamber in Thailand
- Attend and represents the Chamber at selected business events and other Chamber’s events
- Any other work as assigned by the Executive Director
Requirements
- Thai National, 23-35 years old.
- Minimum vocational diploma or bachelor degree in business administration is preferred. Other degrees will be considered if skills are applicable and requirements are met.
- Fresh graduates with internship experience in a multinational organisation with proven experience in organising events are welcome.
- Excellent communication skills in English (minimum TOEIC score: 800)
- Positive, open-minded, attention to detail, multi-tasker, solid project management skill and can-do attitudes
- Ability to prioritise own workload and meet deadlines and to work in a fast pace environment
- Knowledge of MS Office and Adobe Creative Design software (Photoshop) will be an advantage

The Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1996 with the aim of facilitating increased trade and investment between Thailand and Norway. It provides members with a forum to improve business conditions and opportunities as well as creating venues and channels for exchange and sharing of information. Current membership stands at around 50 members including premium and corporate members.
