About The Racha Resort regarding their environmental conservation and sustainability.
To begin with, the Racha Resort is highly concerned about environmental stability. Within the resort, there is always a way to reduce and reuse air conditioning usage. Condensation water from air conditioning fills the footbath outside every villa’s front door. Special heat exchangers in each villa’s air conditioning system provide ample zero-energy hot water for the bathrooms. Moreover, shower and bath toiletries are stored in ceramic vessels instead of plastic. All bath products are made from the highest-quality locally sourced organic products. All villas have double-thick exterior walls, reducing the energy load on air conditioning. In terms of saving energy, The Racha always utilises energy-saving bulbs or LED lights to ensure that the resort will not be entirely established to harm the environment. Lastly, all swimming pool water is ozone-treated instead of chlorine – the most environmentally sound, chemical-free, skin-friendly technology.
