On 18 June 2026, Bangkok, Mrs Vibeke Lyssand Leirvåg was unanimously re-elected as the Chairwoman of the Joint Foreign Chambers of Commerce (JFCCT) for another two-year term (2026–2028). We, as the Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce, would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Mrs Vibeke Lyssand Leirvåg, our dedicated board of governors of our chamber, for her achievement.

Selected as the first Chairwoman of the JFCCT, Mrs Leirvåg, a Norwegian citizen, is the founder and Managing Director of Felicia Design, a high-end jewelry manufacturer in Thailand. She has lived in Thailand since 1989. With her understanding of the Thai business environment and culture, she will continue to develop the relationship with the Thai public as well as the Thai private sector in matters affecting foreign business interests and their contribution to the Thai economy.

At the Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce, we strongly support inclusive leadership and recognise that diverse leadership on the board brings broader perspectives, stronger decision-making, and more sustainable growth. This commitment closely reflects Norway’s long-standing values of gender equality and equal opportunities for all. As one of the women serving on the TNCC Board, Mrs. Leirvåg is a powerful role model whose leadership demonstrates that women can lead the high levels of business and society. Her contributions help inspire women and young girls to pursue their ambitions with confidence, reinforcing the message that opportunities and leadership roles should be open to everyone, regardless of gender.
TNCC, as a valued member of the JFCCT, looks forward to her continued guidance and leadership and remains dedicated to supporting the collective efforts to foster stronger ties between Thailand and the international business community.

JFCCT is representing 29 foreign chambers of commerce and 2 business associations in Thailand. The various chambers and associations represent more than 9,000 companies and over 2 million employees. JFCCT further continues to support existing foreign investors in ease of doing business and reinforces the Thai government’s efforts to develop the country’s economic growth.
