Annual General Meeting 2026 by TNCC at Amari Bangkok Hotel
On 29 April 2026, the Thai–Norwegian Chamber of Commerce (TNCC) held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Amari Bangkok. The meeting provided an opportunity to review the Chamber’s past activities and to share how the Thai–Norwegian Chamber of Commerce continues to support its members.
The AGM also served as a useful platform for members to reconnect with both long-standing and new contacts. This helped to strengthen and expand professional networks within the Thai–Norwegian business community. The event was successfully, with over 40 participants were gathered and enjoyed the experience they received.
At the meeting, Mr. Axel Blom, President, and Ms. Yanin Srathongnoi, Executive Director of Thai – Norwegian Chamber of Commerce, presented the Financial and Activities Report for 2025. The report highlighted the Chamber’s key achievements, successful activities, and continued growth over the past year. It also reflected the Thai–Norwegian Chamber of Commerce’s ongoing commitment to creating value for its members.
During this year’s Election of Governors, the meeting approved the new TNCC Board of Directors 2026-2027. In addition, the newly elected board of directors elected Mrs. Kristine Anvik Leach, Jotun (Thailand), as the new president of Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce. We are confident that, under the guidance of our new President and the continued support of our directors, the Chamber will build on its strong foundation, enhance its impact, and further support our members through meaningful initiatives and collaboration. We look forward to an exciting year ahead, marked by growth, stability, and renewed momentum for the Chamber.
Furthermore, we were honoured to welcome Ms Thea Ottmann, Chargé d’Affaires ad interim from the Royal Norwegian Embassy, to deliver a speech at the AGM Dinner. She provided an informative update on the latest development regarding the EFTA-Thailand Free Trade Agreement and look forwards to Thailand ratification on the Agreement, and insights into upcoming embassy activities. The Norwegian business community in Thailand expressed its appreciation for the Embassy’s continued support in uplifting business activities. The Embassy has been a consistent supporter of the Chamber’s initiatives and reiterated its commitment to continuing its support for the Norwegian Business community in Thailand.
We were pleased to have hosted this meaningful event, which allowed members to gain further insight into the Chamber’s work over the past year, reconnect with peers and engage with key stakeholders. We would like to thank all members and guests who attended and contributed to the success of the AGM.
