Highlight of Integrity in Practice Forum hosted by the Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce and Royal Norwegian Embassy in Bangkok
On 14 May 2026,the Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Bangkok, hosted an extraordinary event : Integrity in Practice Forum – Shaping the Future through Responsible Governance at Hotel Nikko Bangkok.
The Integrity in Practice Forum marked a significant occasion, celebrating the Chamber’s 30th anniversary while reinforcing the longstanding ties between Thailand and Norway through a shared commitment to ethical business conduct, integrity and transparency.
The evening began with a warm welcome from H.E. Mrs. Astrid Emilie Helle, the Norwegian Ambassador to Thailand.The event features a dynamic programme that brings together representatives from the public and private sectors, as well as academia. Activities include keynote speeches, expert panel discussions on transparency and the future of integrity, and an interactive workshop focused on applying anti-corruption principles in practice. Participants will also engage in knowledge-sharing through case studies and open dialogue. The day concludes with a networking cocktail session, providing opportunities to connect, exchange ideas, and explore potential collaborations in an informal setting.
The Forum featured two key panel discussions:
1.From Vision to Practice: Transparency Roadmap
The first panel focused on turning transparency and integrity principles into practical actions to strengthen accountability and good governance. The session was moderated by Ms. Annika Wythes, Coordinator, UNODC Corruption and Financial Crime Hub for South-East Asia and the Pacific, and the speakers included:
- Mr. Tippatrai Saelawong, Senior Researcher, Thailand Development Research Institute (TDRI)
- Mr. Kittidej Chantangkul, Director, Anti-Corruption Organisation of Thailand (ACT)
- Ms. Pinn Siraprapasiri, Senior Manager, Thai Private Sector Collective Action Against Corruption (CAC)
- Ms. Gloyta Nathalang, Senior Executive Vice President, Sustainability Management and Corporate Communications, Bangchak Corporation PCL

2. Future of Integrity: Education, Expectations, and Evolving Views on Corruption
The second panel explores how education and changing societal expectations are shaping new perspectives on integrity and corruption. The session was moderated by Dr. Sauwanee Thairungroj, President of Harbour.Space, University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce (UTCC). The speakers included:
