AutoStore Advances the Path Toward Autonomy with Fall 2026 Product Announcement
AutoStore Company Ltd., our corporate member, has announced a new range of products and enhanced capabilities across its hardware and software portfolio, marking another step towards more autonomous warehouse operations.
The Fall 2026 announcement introduces developments in fulfilment workflows, system design, robotic picking and maintenance, helping businesses reduce manual processes, improve efficiency and expand automation capabilities.
Key product announcements include:
- FlexBinsPort™: Enables different Bin sizes to be handled at a single workstation, improving storage utilisation by an estimated 10–15%. The release is planned for Q4 2026.

- AutoCase™: Expands automated case and each-picking capabilities, supporting cases up to 600 x 400 mm and allowing multiple workstations to operate in parallel. The new capability is expected in Q1 2027.

- Pio Pal™: Brings robotic picking to smaller businesses through a Robotics-as-a-Service model, supporting packing throughput of up to 540 order lines per hour.

- CubeExplore™: Uses generative AI to support investment planning, helping businesses develop return-on-investment (ROI) scenarios and stronger business cases.

- CubeStudio™: Introduces AI-assisted system design, allowing customers and partners to compare configurations and make more informed decisions before deployment.
- CubeFleet™: Provides maintenance alerts, guidance and work-order management, helping operations teams identify service needs earlier and potentially reduce unplanned downtime by 35–45%.

AutoStore is also expanding its robotic piece-picking capabilities through VersaAI, with additional system configurations, automated item induction, barcode scanning and robotic inventory validation.
Building on its CubeVerse™ and AutoStore Intelligence™ platforms, these developments aim to make warehouse automation more accessible, flexible and reliable. Together, they represent a continued move towards autonomous fulfilment, where more operational tasks can be managed with less manual intervention.
As Parth Joshi, Chief Product Officer and President at AutoStore, explains, achieving greater autonomy is not about one major breakthrough, but a series of practical innovations that gradually remove operational barriers.
