Bangchak Partners with SCGC to Promote Recycling with the “Reduce Waste at the Source with Bangchak,” Piloting at 50 Service Stations
SCG Chemicals Plc (SCGC), one of our corporate member, in collaboration with Bangchak, one of our premium members, work towards the project under Wake Up Waste to develop sustainability of tackling recycling wastes.
Gloyta Nathalang, Senior Executive Vice President, Sustainability Management and Corporate Communications at Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, and Preecha Sutthilertaroon, Managing Director at Bangchak Green Net Company Limited, along with Kritsada Ruangchotiwit, Head of Circular Economy at SCG Chemicals Public Company Limited or SCGC, and Bunwalee Jindajamroonkul, Co-Founder of Wake Up Waste, observed the operation of waste collection by Wake Up Waste, a startup that introduces a platform and recycling compression truck for sustainable waste management by SCGC. The initiative involved collecting recyclable waste at the Bangchak Service Station on Sukhumvit 62. Customers and the public are invited to join the “Reduce Waste at the Source with Bangchak” campaign. Initially, the program will be piloted at 50 locations across Bangkok and its vicinity, aiming to recycle the collected waste into new eco-friendly products.
