Baseus Appoints YAS as Thailand’s Official DistributorBaseus, one of the world’s leading digital lifestyle gadgets manufacturers, announces plans to grow in Thailand by appointing YA Sales and Services Company Limited (YAS), a company of Benchachinda Group, one of our premium members, to be the country’s official distributor. Mr. Parker Gong, Baseus Manager (Thailand) said, as one of the leading digital lifestyle gadget manufacturers with product presence in over 100 countries already, Baseus eyes Thailand as one of its new high potential areas to bring our products direct to consumers. To penetrate and capture the Thai market, Baseus has appointed YA Sales and Services Company Limited (YAS), Thailand’s leading distributor of smartphones and electronic devices, to be the country’s official distributor.

Mr. Parker said that Baseus chose YAS as our partner as we believe that YAS has a strong customer base throughout the country and knows the customer’s behaviour well at all levels. Baseus believes that YAS will help the company expand its market presence in Thailand by leaps and bounds in 2023 with a shared vision to build the Baseus brand awareness among the targeted customer groups. Baseus expects that the new partnership will drive the company’s growth to achieve 20 percent market share in 2023 and reach 35 percent within the next three years. Under the plan, YAS will distribute Baseus’ digital lifestyle gadgets through branded retail stores, “Baseus Lifestyle Mall” on e-commerce platforms and create a community to showcase the Baseus range of products on social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram and Tik Tok.

“ Baseus products have been developed with quality, affordable price, and customer in mind. We’re a brand that puts a focus on fulfilling digital needs for everyone’s lifestyle” Mr. Parker said

Mr. Thanaphon Bencharongkul, Department Director, New Product & Partnership Management of YA Sales and Services Company Limited (YAS) said, the company set its vision to become a leading B2B and B2C distributor and fulfilment provider in Thailand. Our plan is to become a “Top Distributor” in the Smartphone, IT and IoT market to respond to the demands and needs of consumers with a digital lifestyle in the Smart-Life and technology driven era. The company sees the potential of the Baseus brand and that it has opportunity to expand in the Thailand market with the variety of products available to cater for our customer’s needs. The partnership with Baseus will allow YAS to fulfil Thailand’s consumer’s digital lifestyle gadgets needs. Positioned as a well-designed quality consumer electronics brand, Baseus products come with modern and easy-to-use design to suit a new digital lifestyle.

Mr. Thanaphon said that as the official Baseus distributor, the company plans to deliver the lifestyle gadgets mainly targeting at high school students, university students and office workers, as well as anyone who prefer quality products with minimalist design. The first showcase items to kick-start the distribution in December includes the small jellybean shaped and lightweight true-wireless earphones, Baseus Bowie WM02; and the Baseus GaN3 Pro Fast Charger, packed with 65W of power, it is compact and portable yet powerful and suitable for anyone in need of charging up multiple devices on the go.

“We also put a big focus on after-sales service. Baseus products offer a 2-year warranty so customers can ensure the quality of Baseus products. We can also offer product claims locally in Thailand, since we are the official distributor and have the products stocked here. Speed of service and customer satisfaction is very important to us.” Mr. Thanaphon noted. He added that in 2023, the smartphone accessories market is expected to grow as consumers now require to additionally buy chargers and cables for use with their IOS or Android phones. The company believes that Baseus will grow to be the first brand in mind when they come to buy phone accessories. Nowadays, most new higher-end smartphones are no longer bundled with a charger and cable. This removal of essential equipment could drive the further growth of aftermarket smartphone accessories market in Thailand.
