Benchachinda had The Ruam Duay Chuay Kan Sam Nuek Rak Ban Kerd Foundation mobilised to assist flood victims in Mae Sai District
The Ruam Duay Chuay Kan Sam Nuek Rak Ban Kerd Foundation, under the control of Benchachinda Holding Co., Ltd., one of our premium members, aids flooding in Chiang Rai, the Northern part of Thailand.
Mr. Apiwat Rattananakorn, Director of Ruam Duay Chuay Kan Sam Nuek Rak Ban Kerd, along with staff from the Rak Ban Kerd Foundation, brought drinking water, survival bags, Select tinned tuna steak, and cleaning equipment to aid the flood victims at Ban Mae Sai, Moo 1, Wiang Pang Kham Subdistrict, Mae Sai District, Chiang Rai Province.
The area has been severely affected by flooding. Although the water level has receded, it has caused significant damage to homes, particularly from debris, rubbish, and mud, which have accumulated and damaged the houses. Some residents are still unable to return to their homes and have had to evacuate to a relief centre located at Wat Tham Phra Chom near the village entrance.
On the 20th September 2024, several agencies are coordinating efforts to provide assistance. They are working together to clean the roads, remove the mud from the houses, and volunteers are providing drinking water, food, and survival bags to support the affected residents.
