Bridging Diplomacy and Business: Joint Embassies and Chambers Networking 2026

On Monday, 28 September 2026, the Joint Foreign Chambers of Commerce in Thailand (JFCCT) welcomed Heads of Foreign Missions, embassy representatives, foreign chambers of commerce, and distinguished business leaders to The Infinity Ballroom, Pullman Bangkok King Power, for an evening dedicated to strengthening ties across Thailand’s international community.

The gathering brought together a wide cross-section of Thailand’s diplomatic and business landscape, reflecting the depth and breadth of relationships that JFCCT has cultivated among its member chambers over the years. Such evenings serve as an important reminder of how closely intertwined diplomacy and commerce remain in shaping Thailand’s international engagement.

To open proceedings, guests were welcomed with remarks from Mrs. Vibeke Lyssand Leirvåg, Chairwoman of JFCCT, setting the tone for a night centred on strengthening ties between the diplomatic and business communities in Thailand. The programme then continued with a keynote speech from Dr. Poj Aramwattananont, Chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and the Board of Trade of Thailand.

As the evening progressed, ambassadors and chamber presidents came together for a group photo, marking the collaborative spirit of the occasion, before sponsorships were formally recognised. The night then concluded with an extended networking session, giving guests the opportunity to exchange ideas and deepen relationships across Thailand’s international business and diplomatic community.
