Declaration of Maximum Control Area, Rules and Regulations
In line with the No.1/2564 Order of the Center of COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA), the government has declared 28 provinces red-zone areas requiring maximum control. They are Bangkok, Kanchanaburi, Chataburi, Chachoengsao, Chumporn, Chonburi, Trat, Tak, Nakhon Nayok, Nakhon Pathom, Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani, Prachuab Kirikhan, Prachinburi, Ayuthaya, Petchaburi, Ratchaburi, Ranong, Rayong, Lopburi, Singburi, Samut Prakarn, Samut Sakhon, Samut Songkhram, Suphanburi, Sra Keo, Saraburi and Angthong. These red-zone areas require maximum control due to the high number of COVID-19 cases in these areas. The government has implemented strict measures to prevent the spread of the virus and to ensure the safety of the public. The CCSA has determined measures required to be implemented in the highest controlled areas, divided into two steps. Companies at risk of an epidemic must implement integrated COVID-19 prevention measures as determined by the CCSA. Random groups of people breaking the law are being searched and arrested to prevent gatherings and potential virus spread. Events with large crowds are prohibited, and schools have ceased in-person teaching and moved to online learning. The government has also requested cooperation from the public to work from home (work from home) throughout the CCA-specified area and not to travel across the province.
