Highlight of 17 May Dinner 2025 hosted by the Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce

On 17 May 2025, the Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce hosted the 17 May Dinner, at Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit Hotel, to commemorate Norway’s Constitution Day. This year is of special significance as it marks the 120th anniversary of Thailand-Norway Diplomatic Relations, underlining a profound relationship between the two nations, which have been unwavering since 1907.

The 17 May Dinner was a special occasion in which we celebrated Constitution Day and the long-lasting partnership of the Thai-Norwegian business community. Over 100 guests including Norwegians, Thais, their family and friends participated in the heartwarming Norwegian tradition.

The evening began with a warm welcome from Ambassador, H.E. Mrs. Astrid Emilie Helle, the Norwegian Ambassador to Thailand and Cambodia, joined us celebrating the Constitution’s Day at 17 May Dinner, followed by an inspiring and heartfelt speech from Mr. Steinar Moe. Guests participated in a thrilling Quiz game about Norway’s fun fact lead by Mr. Jostein Aksnes, Board of Governors of TNCC, before enjoying a delectable Norwegian dinner with fine wine, along with delightful live music. And after dinner, guests shared a joyous dance to festive music. Towards the end of the event, the raffle prize session completely raised guests’ enjoyment.
