Seafood under the Stars 2024 held by the Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce

On January 25, 2024, the Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce hosted the highly successful Seafood under the Stars 2024 at the Amari Bangkok Hotel. Around 300 high profile participants reveled in a delightful experience, savoring a delectable seafood dinner served amid the event’s enchanting atmosphere. On top of that, various chamber members, their guests, and friends, seized the perfect opportunity to expand business connections during the networking hours and dinner.

Seafood under the Stars stands as the Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce’s annual signature gathering, drawing esteemed guests and influential figures from the Norwegian business community in Thailand. Against a backdrop of promoting Norway as a tourist destination and seafood haven, this exceptional event featured the arrival of fresh Norwegian seafood, skillfully managed by Chef Jan Erik Asbjørnsen. He showcased his expertise in crafting inventive recipes that seamlessly fuse Nordic culinary elements, enhancing the overall delectable dining experience.

The evening started with the opening speech by H.E. Mrs. Astrid Emilie Helle, the Norwegian Ambassador to Thailand and Cambodia. Furthermore, Mr Axel Blom, the President of the Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce, extended a warm welcome, sharing the recap highlights of the Norway-Asia Business Summit 2023 as well as key focus areas for the chamber.

Moreover, the success of this event was made possible through the generous support of partners, including the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Bangkok, our platinum partner; Jotun Thailand Ltd., and Norwegian Seafood Council, our gold partners; Yara (Thailand) Ltd., and Aibel (Thailand) Ltd. Special appreciation goes to our Seafood Partners, Thammachart Seafood and Nordic Halibut, for importing a variety of fresh Norwegian seafood for everyone to savor on this special occasion. Lastly, with support from partners, Norse Atlantic Airways, Bumrungrad International Hospital, Thammachart Seafood Retail, and Felicia Design, the enjoyment of guests was elevated during the Lucky Draw session.
