Krabi Spesialisten, one of our premium members,  is celebrating a significant milestone. Ms Ingeborg Fallet Kristensen, a Travel Specialist, the Founder of Krabi Spesialisten, and a Board Governor of the Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce, has been appointed as the new President of SKÅL International Krabi. This exciting development marks a significant advancement in local tourism leadership.

Ingeborg Fallet Kristensen, a renowned travel specialist, has been appointed as the new President of SKÅL International Krabi. This announcement by SKÅL International Thailand marks a significant milestone in the leadership of the Krabi chapter, with Kristensen bringing extensive experience and expertise to the role.

A Norwegian national, Kristensen is the Founder and Managing Director of Krabi Spesialisten, a leading provider of custom-designed tours in Southern Thailand, including eco-sustainable tours, private island-hopping tours, and mountain hiking adventures. Celebrating its 20th anniversary, Krabi Spesialisten has established itself as a top-tier travel service deeply committed to sustainable tourism practices. Additionally, Kristensen founded ‘Wedding in Thailand,’ offering bespoke wedding and event planning services across Krabi, Phuket, and other Southern Thailand locations.

Kristensen’s journey in Thailand spans 27 years, beginning with her studies at the SSTH Swiss School of Tourism and Hospitality in Switzerland. She launched her career at the Sheraton Grande Laguna Phuket before moving to Krabi, where she managed a boutique hotel in Ao Nang from 2000 to 2003. Her entrepreneurial spirit led to the establishment of Krabi Spesialisten in 2003, which has since become a hallmark of quality and innovation in the local tourism industry.

In addition to her business achievements, Kristensen serves on the Board of Governors of the Thai Norwegian Chamber of Commerce. She was also honored with the IWTA Inspiring Woman in Travel Asia Award 2024 – Judges Choice Award, reflecting her significant contributions to the travel industry.

James Thurlby, President of SKÅL International Thailand, expressed his enthusiasm for Kristensen’s appointment: “We are honoured and delighted that Ingeborg will now take the helm of our Krabi Club.
