NIST International School opens Three New Campus Buildings
NIST International School, our corporate member, is proud to announce the opening of three new campus buildings: the Innovation Building, Pavilion Building, and Elementary Buildings, marking a significant expansion of its city‑centre campus and reinforcing its not‑for‑profit commitment to holistic education.

Designed to support learning at every stage of development, the new Elementary complex features a two-storey library, science laboratories, a purpose-built gymnasium with a climbing wall, makerspaces, and a learning kitchen. These thoughtfully designed environments foster exploration, collaboration, and creativity, while supporting students’ academic growth, wellbeing, and sense of belonging.
The Innovation Building serves as a hub for collaboration and design thinking, encouraging interdisciplinary learning and future-focused skills. Complementing this, the Pavilion Building opened in February 2025, brings learning and community together through its lecture hall, lounge, and shared spaces, strengthening connections across the school.
The milestone was marked on 22 January 2026 at Building NIST Together: Honouring Our Legacy and Shaping Our Future, which welcomed donors, alumni, and invited guests to campus and reflected a vision that began in 1992 and continues to evolve. The event highlighted the collective effort behind the development of spaces designed to serve and sustain a NIST education for generations to come.
The campus expansion coincides with continued academic success. In 2025, NIST students achieved an average IB Diploma score of 37, with a 100 per cent pass rate, reflecting a learning environment in which students flourish academically, socially, and emotionally, underpinned by creativity and a commitment to service.
With its central Bangkok location, modern facilities, and strong IB outcomes leading to offers from the world’s top universities, NIST offers a distinctive city-centre international education. Guided by its mission to inspire growth, empower excellence, and enrich lives, the school continues to invest in learning environments that support meaningful education and positive global impact.
