It is with great pleasure that we announce that Khun Yanin (“Fah”) Srathongnoi will join the Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce (TNCC) as Executive Director in September 2019. Khun Yanin has previously worked with Blue Business Solutions Ltd. on behalf of Innovation Norway and has volunteered her time on many occasions to the Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce.

Khun Yanin joins the Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce from the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) where she worked as Assistant Marketing Manager. She has actively conducted outreach and established new collaborations with trade associations and key buyers in Thailand. She has also worked with recruiting exhibitors, buyers, speakers, journalists and conference participants in Thailand to attend HKTDC trade fairs and conferences in Hong Kong.

Before joining HKTDC she worked with Blue Business Solutions/Norway Connect as a market advisor with full client responsibility for the Norwegian Seafood Council, our premium member, as well as, Norwegian Air Shuttle and Scandinavian Tourist Board until 2018. During this period, she was in charge of all marketing activities, event management, and exhibitions as well as supervising the company’s administrative staff. While working at Norway Connect, Khun Yanin also furthered her education and graduated with a Master’s Degree in Marketing Management from Mahidol University.

In 2014, she was instrumental in the organising of the Norway-Asia Business Summit for the Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce, an event arranged simultaneously in Bangkok and Yangon.  The Summit had an impressive 250 delegates including 50 speakers and made a good profit for the chamber.

We are very fortunate to welcome Khun Yanin to the chamber team. With her experience in Norwegian business, both in Norway and Thailand, we believe she will be a valuable asset to Team Norway in Thailand.
