Seafood under the Stars 2026 hosted by TNCC

On 29 January 2026, the Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce proudly hosted Seafood under the Stars 2026 at the Fuji Grand Ballroom, 4th floor, Hotel Nikko Bangkok. Over 300 guests gathered at a wonderful evening, tasting a delicious seafood dinner in an elegant setting. It was also the perfect chance for chamber members, other chamber members, and their guests to catch up and build new business connections throughout the networking session and dinner.

Seafood under the Stars is the signature annual event hosted by the Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce. This highly anticipated evening celebrates Norway’s reputation as a world-class seafood supplier, featuring premium Norwegian seafood specially flown in for the occasion. Guests enjoy an elevated dining experience with live cooking stations, curated dishes, and a vibrant yet elegant atmosphere.

The evening commenced with an opening speech by H.E. Mrs. Astrid Emilie Helle, Norwegian Ambassador to Thailand. Following with Miss Åshild Nakken, Director of Norwegian Seafood Council in Southeast Asia, delivered a remark to highlighted Seafood from Norway and the country’s long-standing fishing traditions rooted in the cold, clear waters of the north. The event continued with  Mr Axel Blom, President of the Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce,  extending a warm welcome and expressing heartfelt appreciation for the key contributors to Seafood Under the Stars 2026.

This year, Norwegian Seafood Council featured fresh Norwegian seafood, expertly prepared and presented by Chef “Jib” Chapornpat Dapachutisan. Renowned for her innovative approach, Chef Jib masterfully crafted an East-meets-West culinary journey, featuring a refined fusion of flavors using curated Norwegian ingredients. The evening concluded with an exciting lucky draw, bringing joy and a lively atmosphere to all guests.

This incredible gathering owed its success to the invaluable backing of our partners and sponsors. A highlight of the evening was the Grand Prize Lucky Draw, featuring three round-trip economy tickets from Bangkok to Oslo, generously sponsored by Thai Airways. In addition, Thammachart Seafood delighted guests by sponsoring six additional lucky draw prizes, further adding to the excitement and celebratory atmosphere of the evening. Congratulations to all the winners!

As the evening drew to a close, the Chamber expressed its sincere thanks to all guests for making Seafood Under the Stars 2026 such a resounding success.
