Thai Airways Celebrates Resumption of Bangkok-Oslo v.v. Flights (TG954/TG955) on July 1, 2024
Thai Airways International, one of our premium members, celebrated the resumption of Bangkok-Oslo flights with events at Gardermoen Oslo Airport and Hotel Continental Oslo. Executives and dignitaries, including Thai Airways’ Chief Commercial Officer and CEO, emphasized the importance of this route for tourism and economic ties between Thailand and Scandinavia.
On July 1, 2024, Thai Airways celebrated the resumption of Bangkok-Oslo flights with a series of events. The day began at Gardermoen Oslo Airport, where executives, including Mr. Korakot Chatasingha, Chief Commercial Officer of Thai Airways, along with representatives from AVINOR Executive, gathered for speeches and a ceremonial ribbon-cutting. Passengers on Oslo’s inaugural flights were treated to refreshments and thoughtful amenities, including goodie bags at the boarding gate, enhancing the inaugural experience.
Later in the evening, a distinguished event took place at Hotel Continental Oslo, attended by Mr. Chai Eamsiri, Chief Executive Officer of Thai Airways, Avinor Oslo Airport Executive, The Royal Thai Embassy in Oslo, TAT Stockholm, Travel Agencies, and media. They emphasised the route’s reopening as pivotal for enhancing tourism and fostering closer economic and cultural exchanges between Thailand and Scandinavia.
These events underscore Thai Airways’ commitment to global connectivity via Bangkok, Thailand, and promoting bilateral relations, marking a significant step forward in international travel amidst a recovering global landscape.
