TNCC attends JFCCT meeting with the Minister to the Prime Minister’s office.

On Thursday 27 September 2018, the TNCC President Ms Aina Eidsvik and two of the TNCC Vice Presidents, Ms. Vibeke Lyssand Leirvaag and Mr. Gur Prasad Kohli, joined other members of the Joint Foreign Chambers of Commerce in Thailand (JFCCT) for a Consultative Meeting with His Excellency Dr. Kobsak Pootrakool, Minister to the Prime Minister’s office. Present at the meeting was also the Secretary General of the Board of Investment, Ms. Duangjai Asawachintachit.

In the meeting JFCCT raised issues they are working on such as changing regulations about visa and work permits, the ‘guillotine’ project, rule of law issues, the Foreign Business Act, digital government strategy and agriculture and provincial development. A background briefing memo was provided for JFCCT participants. His Excellency encouraged JFCCT and private sector participation in the ‘guillotine’ to fast-track reforms.
