Trade Figures for 2020 Released by Norway Connect

Norway Connect, our premium member, has shared that the trade figures for 2020 have just been released by Statistics Norway. 2020 ends with NOK 2.8 billion in exports to Thailand equalling a 16.4% drop from 2019 and NOK 3.5 billion in imports from Thailand equalling a 2.5% increase compared to 2019.
Export from Norway in 2020 was split like this:
- Seafood 48%, NOK 1.32 billion
- Fertilisers 20%, NOK 0.56 billion
- Other goods 32%, NOK 0.89 billion
From Thailand, the imports to Norway were more varied, from food items like poultry to air conditioners, office machines, automobiles, and other manufacturing goods being part of the basket.
