Wilhelmsen Port Services joins Forces with DNV as Diize becomes Part of CFARER

Wilhelmsen Port Services, our corporate member, with its digital subsidiary, Diize, is now part of CFARER — a new brand formed from what was previously known as DNV Maritime Software.

“We are proud to join forces with DNV and for the Diize team to become part of CFARER — a powerful step forward in our mission to drive smarter and safer operations, both at sea and in port. Together, we are committed to building solutions that serve the real needs of seafarers — placing them where they belong: at the heart of shipping”, says Michael Satzger, Vice President, Strategy, M&A and Business Development of Wilhelmsen Port Services.

With DNV continuing as the majority shareholder, Wilhelmsen Port Services joins as a strategic minority shareholder — enhancing CFARER’s ability to deliver solutions grounded in real-world shipping operations through their global network, operational expertise, and the technology of their digital subsidiary, Diize.

As part of this change, Diize’s port clearance solution, Always-on-Board, will be integrated into the CFARER’s portfolio, alongside other leading solutions such as ShipManager, Navigator Port and Hull Manager. All solutions will continue to be supported and developed under the new brand, with no changes or interruptions for customers and the delivery of services.

Together, Wilhelmsen Port Services and DNV are committed to shaping the future of maritime software — delivering solutions built for seafarers, backed by expertise, and designed to help fleets navigate complexity with confidence.
