The Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce (TNCC) would like to invite you to join the Paddle & Clean Up event at Starboard’s HQ on Taco Lake, as part of World Clean Up Day. The campaign, hosted by Starboard, one of our premium members, and Trash Hero Bangkok, aims to create a significant and lasting positive environmental impact in the community on Sunday 20 September, 2026.
World Clean Up Day is an inspiring global movement that brings together millions of people in 191 countries to tackle today’s pressing environmental challenges, such as plastic pollution, waste mismanagement, and ecological degradation, with individuals, organisations, and communities joining forces to remove litter and champion environmental sustainability.
Norway is well known for promoting environmental conservation through its robust policies and commitment to sustainability, raising strong public awareness on waste management, plastic reduction, and environmental protection. This initiative offers a valuable opportunity for you to take part in safeguarding our planet’s future.

- Time: 09:00 – 11:00 hrs.
- Venue: Taco Lake Wakepark, Bang Phli, Samut Prakan (Map)

Starboard will provide paddleboards, and attendees will work together to clean up the canal and the streets of Bang Phli. Participants will meet at Starboard’s HQ on Taco Lake, Bang Phli. If your company would like to sponsor or support the event, please email [email protected].
Last year, almost 400 kg was collected in just under 2 hours. This year, we want the number to be even bigger!
What to expect:
- A chance to try our Canal cleanup with Starboard’s stand-up paddle boards
- You can choose to stay on land and participate as well
- Free refreshments and water refill – please bring your own reusable water bottle
- Being part of an amazing team of motivated individuals!

Plastic Impact Programme
Additionally, your company, team and organisation has the opportunity to expand your impact further by donating towards the year-round Starboard Blue Impact Programme that pays vulnerable community members to pick up plastic as income opportunities along with our education programme. Your team can choose how many tonnes to fund the removal of.
