Starboard and Thai-Norwegian Chamber Members unite for World Ocean Day Cleanup

Starboard and Thai-Norwegian Chamber Members Unite for World Ocean Day CleanupStarboard and Thai-Norwegian Chamber Members unite for World Ocean Day Cleanup

In celebration of World Ocean Day and UN Ocean Week, Starboard, one of our premium members, hosted the annual Paddle & Road Cleanup at HQ in Thailand—led by Eco Project Manager, Pitchapa Lekpetch. This powerful community event brought together over 100 volunteers, including 40 paddlers on Starboard boards, who collected and sorted an impressive 339.3 kilograms of waste from the lake, canal, and roadsides.

Beyond Thailand, the company’s dedicated team in Myanmar, led by Inkyinn Pwint, also took action—protecting our shared seas, leading educational school activities, and hosting an eco-brick workshop to improve plastic circularity in local communities.

This is more than a day at Starboard. This is every day.

Starboard would like to sincerely thank its volunteers and incredible partners:

  • INSEE Ecocycle Thailand – for their ongoing support and volunteer power
  • Yara Africa & Asia – for providing repurposed fertiliser bags and a strong team
  • Diab – for keeping everyone refreshed throughout the day

This is more than a day. This is a movement.
